This whole thing was sheer poetry!! I loved the contrast between the pattern of birdsong and the pattern Fire turns itself into. ugh so many strong emotions! I really appreciated getting to see most backgrounds in full before the text would appear, they’re all so well done!

This was such a cool, upsetting and captivating experience. I was already invested from the fist couple of lines, but I couldn't stop reading as soon as the parents and the birdsong showed up, that's such a cool way to do that effect and it works for the world-building in such a good way.
The visual and audio design, not just for the backgrounds but everything else including sprites was surprising in a good way, it adds a lot to what's already a very well-written short VN. Super engrossing, thank you so much for making it!
