Astounding! I was drawn in from the very first line, but what really hooked me was the "Memory Depth" structure. The first moment that showed up I immediately thought "oh god what's at the bottom???". I loved how it would go up and down, giving us new pieces of the story but never quite everything; just enough to break my heart. The visual style was also incredible; I loved this sort of mixed-media approach!

Thank you!!!

this was lovely

the beginning was a bit difficult to get into because nothing is really explained but I also kinda love that

as the memory depth rose, so too did my understanding of the world

Let's existence is a harrowing one, one that feels all too familiar, with regards to clinging too tighly and remembering way too much of things you'd rather forget.

I also really liked the visuals; I always have a thing for photobashing and greyscale and harsh contrasts. also loved the play of colors and butterfly imagery and the fusion of server racks and cathedrals and drowning pools.

the ending made me tear up and weighed my soul down with hadal pressures

Thank you so much!!! May your soul lift back up on the feathery wings of yuri

I really love this!! I love the weird science fantasy of it all, the ambiguous and baroque descriptions of the world, and how personal and small the conflict seems in  comparison. really really good!

(have you seen haibane renmei perchance)

Thank you!!! I watched haibane renmei as a really little kid with my dad and it definitely imprinted on me :3

As Let extracted (interpreted?) the memories from her corpses, I was left wondering if she truly believed that her body and soul were separate entities.

Her attachment and reaction to the story of a love lost made me think this claim was always more of a coping mechanism, or a way to keep Rain from worrying. I thought, if Let didn't believe her body and soul to be wholly linked, at least they were made from some Miltonic materia prima: separate, maybe, but ultimately of the same stuff.

A lot to think about here. The visuals were striking. The conceit of moving up and down rungs of memory is ambitious, but you stuck the landing. Extremely well done. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much!! And yes, I 100% agree, Let's explanations of the technology of the world are part of her attempts to deny how the events of the story affect her, to make everything sound okay so neither she nor Rain have to understand how badly she's hurting

this was excruciating to read. the portrayal of someone shifting your opinion of you over time completely, a relationship breaking from small cracks... rather confusing to follow but after two reads i think i mostly worked it out, it was pretty interesting figuring out the timeline, and the structure fit the unreliable nature of angel's memory. also really cool worldbuilding that felt like a part of a larger thing, collage backgrounds gave this a unique vibe, and i am totally not biased towards angels (lol)

Thank you so much!! You hit the nail on the head that the story is told through chopped up memory to mirror how Let's memories are distorted by her trauma and her emanations. I'm really honored that you found it worthwhile to read it twice !!!!

Woah. From the screenshots I knew it would be good but I didn't realize just how good it could be. The layering is incredible, the continuation of a sentence in titled, pulling Let through memory after memory, just an incredible concept with a beautiful execution. I definitely plan to reread this in the future, as I imagine that a second pass might be an entirely new experience!

Thank you so much!!!!

Really cool setting and presentation that meshes perfectly with trying and failing to bury a memory. RIP Let, she never had a chance from the start.

Thank youuuuu rip let

This VN is different in a good way, good backgrounds, great way of slowly peeling away at layers of information, the characters and overall art style are great.

Let got a real bad lot though, feel so bad for them ;-;

Thank you so much!

Devastatingly beautiful game, I love the way the timeline bounces around between compartmentalized memories, and the concept of bodies having a 'save state' that leaves breathing corpses around is haunting.

poor let ;-;

Thank you!!

if let has a million fans, im one of them.

if let has one fan, im that one.

if let has no fans, I AM DEAD !!

jesus. this one kinda broke me. this really, really struck something deep deep within, something that i feel so viscerally. the way we jump through memories, getting to piece together a love story so heartbreaking and just so painful. i love angelic themed stories and this really hit me. thank you for creating this <3

and fuck you, evelyn.

Omg I am honored @_@ we can be the founding members of the Let fanclub!!!

really good!!!! presentation is stellar, evocative writing

definitely Felt things all throughout, would like to give let a very big hug

Thank you!!! Let deserves 10,000 hugs (>^_^)>

the presentation of this is really beautiful, i loved the backgrounds a lot, they felt very evocative!! and ohhh my goooosh RAIN PLEEEAAASE Q_Q i felt so sad for Let... this definitely gave me the feels. good work!!

Thank you!!!!! ^_^ I'm very proud of the collage style I've developed for my backgrounds!
